Dan and Rebecca Snell have walked through the best of times and also the challenging dynamics of blended family life. Joyfully married for 11 years with six children – yours, mine and ours – they worked daily to improve the lives of step-families nationally. They have researched, interviewed and studied the failures and successes of hundreds of families. In their own case their faith has been the key and #1 component that has kept their marriage and family on track. They are committed to serving others facing the tests and trials of step-family life. Considered experts in the blended family arena, they speak at conferences, workshops, churches, hospitals, schools and government agencies. They formed a ministry called The Bonded Family in 2004 and today put on conferences nationally.
Making a blended family work is challenging, but rewarding. I’ve been a stepfather for 10 years now–it doesn’t get easier as the years move on.
